Everything is Waymo
AI Agents are abstracting the world away
Waymo’s on the cusp of moving into our town and I’m pretty excited.
I rode one for the first time a few months ago in SF. It was clean. It felt very safe and I was able to blast Let God Sort Em Out1 without anyone judging me.
As a Xennial (aka “The Oregon Trail Generation”) I have experienced a fully analog existence. This means pre-internet, pre-smartphone, pre-social and pre-AI.
And this automated ride made me reflect back on how the driving experience has changed — how AI has abstracted away the activity of “driving.”
